AI consulting in Charlotte, North Carolina
AI consulting for Charlotte businesses. Advice that ends in a working system.
Charlotte at a glance
A banking town that runs on small business.
Charlotte is the second-largest banking center in the United States, behind only New York, and home to the headquarters of Bank of America and Truist, with Wells Fargo running major East Coast operations here. But the day-to-day economy runs on the firms around those towers: the suppliers, trades, logistics companies, and service businesses that keep the city moving. Mecklenburg County employment grew 6.8% in a single recent year, and growth like that strains follow-up, quoting, and scheduling first. That strain is where we come in.
What the consulting actually looks like
We follow the work, not the org chart.
We watch the work get done
We put a dollar figure on each slow spot
We tell you what not to build
You get a written plan you own
Then we build the first one
Where we work in Charlotte
Across the city and the metro.
We're based in Western North Carolina and our founder is building out of Charlotte, so this is home turf, not a market we're testing. Uptown's law, accounting, and wealth firms around the bank towers; South End's design firms, restaurants, and breweries; NoDa's owner-run hospitality and retail; Ballantyne's corporate offices and medical practices; University City's health care and tech around UNC Charlotte. The metro too: Huntersville and Cornelius, Concord's distribution parks, Gastonia, Matthews, Pineville, and Rock Hill just over the line in South Carolina.

Examples
Where consulting pays off fastest in Charlotte.
These aren't a limit. They're where an outside set of eyes finds the most money sitting in plain sight.
Finance and the firms around it
Charlotte's banks anchor a deep bench of wealth management, insurance, mortgage, and accounting firms. We map intake, document handling, and client follow-up, and we draw the compliance line early: what a system can touch, what a person has to approve, and what stays on your own hardware.
Logistics and distribution
The city sits where I-85 meets I-77, with distribution parks from Concord to Gastonia. We look at order status, shipment paperwork, and dispatch follow-up first, because that's where a growing distributor's office drowns.
Construction and trades
A metro growing this fast builds nonstop. We find where estimating, bid follow-up, and job costing leak margin, and rank the fixes by what they return, not by what's easiest to sell you.
Professional services
Law, accounting, marketing, and consulting firms sell expertise and drown in admin. We map the intake and drafting work eating billable hours and tell you plainly which parts a system should take and which parts your people should keep.
How it works
Start. Build. Stay.
Start
Every engagement starts with a diagnostic. We map how the work actually gets done, find what's costing you the most, and put a dollar figure on it. The Krastor Blueprint is the written plan that comes out of it: fixed fee, starting at $1,500, and yours to keep whether you hire us or not.
Build
We build the first fixed-scope system and get it live fast, usually inside the first two weeks. Custom software, AI agents, data layers, integrations, automations: whatever the fix actually requires, built into how your business already runs.
Stay
We stay on to keep it running and keep it improving, and we report what it earned you in dollars. You own the tools, the data, and the code. If you ever stop, all of it stays with you. What you lose is us keeping it running.
Rules to know
AI and data rules in North Carolina.
As of September 2026, North Carolina has not passed a broad AI law or consumer-privacy law that applies to private businesses. Federal rules and your industry's rules still apply.
If you handle health, financial, or children's data, keep it out of public AI tools unless your vendor contract covers it. Private, on-site AI is an option when it can't leave the building.
This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.
Questions
Straight answers.
Do you have an office in Charlotte?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Krastor is based in Western North Carolina. Our founder is building out of Charlotte, and we work with Charlotte businesses remotely and on site. You get the same team either way.
How is this different from hiring a consultant who hands us a report?
The report is the middle, not the end. We diagnose, we write the plan, and then we build the first system and stay to run it. You judge us on a working system, not a document.
What does the consulting cost?
The first step is free: a 30-minute diagnostic with a written assessment. The full Blueprint is a fixed fee starting at $1,500. Build pricing comes in writing, phased, before anything starts.
What size business do you work with?
Businesses with roughly 10 to 250 employees. Big enough to have real repeat work worth automating, small enough that the owner or an ops lead can make the call.
Is there a North Carolina law about using AI in my business?
As of September 2026, North Carolina hasn't passed a broad AI or consumer-privacy law for private businesses. Industry rules (health, finance) still apply. This isn't legal advice.
