Operations intelligence in Charlotte, North Carolina
Operations intelligence for Charlotte businesses. Your numbers and know-how, finally easy to reach.
Charlotte at a glance
A banking town that runs on small business.
Charlotte is the second-largest banking center in the United States, behind only New York, and home to the headquarters of Bank of America and Truist, with Wells Fargo running major East Coast operations here. But the day-to-day economy runs on the firms around those towers: the suppliers, trades, logistics companies, and service businesses that keep the city moving. Mecklenburg County employment grew 6.8% in a single recent year, and growth like that strains follow-up, quoting, and scheduling first. That strain is where we come in.

Where we work in Charlotte
Across the city and the metro.
We're based in Western North Carolina and our founder is building out of Charlotte, so this is home turf, not a market we're testing. Uptown's professional firms and the vendors around the towers; South End's multi-location restaurants and growing firms; NoDa's owner-run businesses; Ballantyne's corporate offices and practices with teams in more than one system; University City's health care and tech operations around UNC Charlotte. The metro too: Huntersville and Cornelius, Concord's distribution parks, Gastonia, Matthews, Pineville, and Rock Hill just over the line in South Carolina.

Examples
Where this pays off in Charlotte.
These aren't a limit. They're where scattered numbers and trapped know-how cost the most.
Finance and the firms around it
Wealth, insurance, and accounting firms where client history lives in email, the CRM says something else, and compliance wants a trail for all of it. One record per client, reporting pulled from it, and a knowledge assistant that answers from your own documents with permissions enforced and every source cited.
Logistics and distribution
Operators from Concord to Gastonia where order status lives in the dispatcher's head. Orders, shipments, and invoices in one view anyone on the team can check, plus your own procedures searchable when a new hire asks how a claim gets handled.
Professional services
Law, accounting, marketing, and consulting firms where the senior people's heads are the filing cabinet. Past proposals, engagement history, and firm procedures searchable by the team, so a junior answers a client's question from your documents instead of interrupting a partner.
Construction and trades
Job costing that updates as the work happens, open bid lists that flag themselves, and a weekly view of every job's margin while you can still fix it, across however many crews you've got running.
How it works
Start. Build. Stay.
Start
Every engagement starts with a diagnostic. We look at where your numbers live, where they disagree, and what your team asks each other all day, and send a written assessment whether you hire us or not. The Krastor Blueprint is the written plan that comes out of it: fixed fee, starting at $1,500, and yours to keep whether you hire us or not.
Build
We connect the systems, clean up what doesn't match, and build the reporting and the knowledge assistant on top, using the tools you already have where we can.
Stay
We stay on to keep it running, check its answers, and report what it earned you in dollars. You own the tools, the data, and the code. If you ever stop, all of it stays with you. What you lose is us keeping it running.
Rules to know
AI and data rules in North Carolina.
As of September 2026, North Carolina has not passed a broad AI law or consumer-privacy law that applies to private businesses. Federal rules and your industry's rules still apply.
If you handle health, financial, or children's data, keep it out of public AI tools unless your vendor contract covers it. A knowledge system can run on hardware you own, so your documents never leave the building.
This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.
Questions
Straight answers.
Do you have an office in Charlotte?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Krastor is based in Western North Carolina. Our founder is building out of Charlotte, and we work with Charlotte businesses remotely and on site. You get the same team either way.
How is this different from a dashboard tool?
A dashboard shows you the data you feed it. We do the unglamorous part first: connecting your systems, settling which numbers are right, and keeping it fed. Then the reporting and the knowledge assistant sit on top of something true.
Can we control who sees what?
Yes. Permissions are set by you, down to the document and the number. A knowledge assistant only answers from what that person is allowed to see, and sensitive data can stay on your own hardware entirely.
What size business do you work with?
Businesses with roughly 10 to 250 employees. Big enough that the answers are scattered, small enough that the owner or an ops lead can make the call.
How do we start?
With a free 30-minute diagnostic. We map how the work gets done, find what's costing you the most, and send a written assessment whether you hire us or not. Book it here: https://cal.com/krastor/intro

Thirty minutes. We map your operation, name what's actually slowing it down, and tell you what we'd do if we were running it. You get a written assessment after the call, whether you hire us or not.
Not limited to what's listed. Every engagement starts by assessing what your business actually needs, and we build whatever it requires.
