Systems and data foundation in Charlotte, North Carolina

Systems and data foundation for Charlotte businesses. The ground everything else stands on.

Most Charlotte businesses don't have a software problem. They have a record problem: the same customer in three systems, three versions of the numbers, and a team retyping between them to keep the story straight. We fix that first. We consolidate your CRM and the tools around it, clean the data, and connect your systems so one record is true everywhere. Only then does anything built on top have something true to work with. Krastor is based in Western North Carolina, and our founder is building out of Charlotte. We work with Charlotte businesses remotely and on site.

Charlotte at a glance

A banking town that runs on small business.

Charlotte is the second-largest banking center in the United States, behind only New York, and home to the headquarters of Bank of America and Truist, with Wells Fargo running major East Coast operations here. But the day-to-day economy runs on the firms around those towers: the suppliers, trades, logistics companies, and service businesses that keep the city moving. Mecklenburg County employment grew 6.8% in a single recent year, and growth like that strains follow-up, quoting, and scheduling first. That strain is where we come in.

What the foundation work covers

You can't put AI on top of a mess.

01

One CRM instead of three

We consolidate the tools that track your customers, jobs, and money into one system your team actually uses, and retire the duplicates you are paying for twice.
02

Records that match

The same customer, the same job, the same dollar figure, identical in every system. We find where records disagree, settle which one is right, and keep them in agreement.
03

Systems connected end to end

Your CRM, accounting, booking, and job data talking to each other, so a change in one place updates the rest and nobody retypes anything.
04

Cut tool sprawl

We audit the software you pay for, then cut, replace, and combine what overlaps. Custom builds only where nothing off-the-shelf fits, so the monthly bill goes down, not up.
05

Data cleaned and moved

Duplicate contacts merged, dead records archived, fields standardized. Migrations are checked record by record before the old system is retired, and nothing gets deleted quietly.
06

Built to hold AI later

Clean fields, sensible permissions, and an audit trail underneath, so when agents, reporting, and knowledge tools land on top, they read from something true.

Where we work in Charlotte

Across the city and the metro.

We're based in Western North Carolina and our founder is building out of Charlotte, so this is home turf, not a market we're testing. Uptown's professional firms around the towers; South End's growing shops and restaurants; NoDa's owner-run businesses; Ballantyne's corporate offices and practices; University City around UNC Charlotte. The metro too: Huntersville and Cornelius, Concord's distribution parks, Gastonia, Matthews, Pineville, and Rock Hill just over the line in South Carolina.

Examples

Where a foundation pays back first in Charlotte.

These aren't a limit. They're where scattered records and duplicate tools cost the most.

Finance and the firms around it

Wealth, insurance, and accounting firms around the towers often run a CRM, a planning tool, and a document store that have never agreed with each other. We make them one record, so a client's file reads the same everywhere it appears.

Logistics and distribution

Distributors along I-85 and I-77 live on order, inventory, and invoice data moving between systems. When those records match, the 'where is it' calls slow down and the paperwork stops being rebuilt by hand.

Construction and trades

Estimates in one tool, job costs in another, invoices in a third. We connect them so a job's numbers follow it from bid to final bill, and nobody retypes a line item twice.

Professional services

Law and consulting firms where the client record lives partly in email. We pull it into one system of record, with permissions set by you, so anyone on the team can find the current version.

How it works

Start. Build. Stay.

01

Start

Every engagement starts with a diagnostic. We trace where your records live, where they disagree, and what your team retypes to keep them in agreement, and put a dollar figure on it. The Krastor Blueprint is the written plan that comes out of it: fixed fee, starting at $1,500, and yours to keep whether you hire us or not.

02

Build

We consolidate, clean, and connect, usually one system at a time so your team is never working around a half-finished migration. The first fix is live fast, usually inside the first two weeks, and nothing switches over until the records match.

03

Stay

We stay on to keep it running and keep it improving, and we report what it earned you in dollars. You own the tools, the data, and the code. If you ever stop, all of it stays with you. What you lose is us keeping it running.

Rules to know

AI and data rules in North Carolina.

As of September 2026, North Carolina has not passed a broad AI law or consumer-privacy law that applies to private businesses. Federal rules and your industry's rules still apply.

If you handle health, financial, or children's data, keep it out of public AI tools unless your vendor contract covers it. Private, on-site AI is an option when it can't leave the building.

This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do you have an office in Charlotte?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Krastor is based in Western North Carolina. Our founder is building out of Charlotte, and we work with Charlotte businesses remotely and on site. You get the same team either way.

Do we need to replace our software first?

Almost never. We start by connecting what you already run. If a tool truly can't connect or is costing you more than it returns, we'll tell you in the assessment, with the numbers.

What happens to our old data?

It comes with you. We migrate and clean it, merge the duplicates, and archive what is dead, and the move is checked record by record before the old system is retired. Nothing gets deleted quietly.

What size business do you work with?

Businesses with roughly 10 to 250 employees. Big enough to have real repeat work worth automating, small enough that the owner or an ops lead can make the call.

How do we start?

With a free 30-minute diagnostic. We map how the work gets done, find what's costing you the most, and send a written assessment whether you hire us or not. Book it here: https://cal.com/krastor/intro
